Retur’s environmental emblems are a tool that companies can use to show that they comply with their producer responsibility through membership of Retur’s collective schemes. At the same time, the ambition behind the emblems is to make it easier for companies to communicate their sustainability efforts.
In practice, we see that our members want to use the emblems in different ways:
Some need a very simple emblem that can be placed directly on a website or used in printed materials.
This solution requires no technical setup, but contains no data and is not digitally validated.
Others need a digital emblem based on their own CO₂ and sustainability data, which can support sustainability communication.
This solution is digitally validated and based on data reported in Returportalen, but requires technical integration and is primarily intended for digital use.
